Perhaps a change of goal - more realistic

Just ignore the clown nose :o)
I was looking at past pics of me from about 20 lbs ago (not 40 lbs ago) and I looked great. I think I pretty much looked as great as I did 40 lbs ago. I remember, in college, people told me I could stand to gain some weight cause I was too skinny- and that was my 125 weight. But when I weighed between 140 and 145 I still looked great-

SO I think I'm going to be more realistic and shoot to weight 140-145lbs instead of the 125. BUT if I lose more than 20 lbs then that will just be a bonus. What do you think?
PS I'm not copping out. I'm just trying to not discourage myself by being more realistic. Which it really does help. I feel more empowered!

I think that's a great goal to shoot for. :)

I don't think it's copping out, I do think its just more realistic. You are a woman now now a girl and your body changes as it ages. I don't know anyone personally that still looks like they did in High School. :) Good job on the progress!

I think you will succeed at whatever you decide to do but I don't think you are copping out or anything like that. It's good to have short-term attainable goals too, so you don't get discouraged when your long-terms are taking longer than you thought they might. All I mean is that you are doing great and that's that.
