Get down with your bad self!
DoWn 1.2 more pounds. I forgot to weigh myself before I ate breakfast so I'd feel comfortable in saying I've lost about 2 pounds. SOO I've lost 10 pounds total so far- give or take a few ounces :o) Go me! Go me! Go me!

Whoopie!!
I got my first "wow you've lost weight" comment last night. Mine and Blake's friend Brandon (Jen's Husband) said those exact words. And Jen agreed with him. It made me feel so good. Then I weighed myself this morning, I have lost an additional pound. And my BMI had gone down .1 points. I love seeing my BMI go down. Only 1.1 points to go and I won't be overweight :o) Which is 6-7 pounds. And 2 more pounds and I'll have lost 10 pounds! So I'm down 8 pounds since the beginning of my goal!

Perhaps a change of goal - more realistic
Just ignore the clown nose :o)

I was looking at past pics of me from about 20 lbs ago (not 40 lbs ago) and I looked great. I think I pretty much looked as great as I did 40 lbs ago. I remember, in college, people told me I could stand to gain some weight cause I was too skinny- and that was my 125 weight. But when I weighed between 140 and 145 I still looked great-
SO I think I'm going to be more realistic and shoot to weight 140-145lbs instead of the 125. BUT if I lose more than 20 lbs then that will just be a bonus. What do you think?
PS I'm not copping out. I'm just trying to not discourage myself by being more realistic. Which it really does help. I feel more empowered!

I haven't lost any more weight.. But I haven't gained a single pound either - SO THAT IS OK WITH ME! As long as I'm not gaining weight. I hope I can lose more though. That is all I have to share- nothing exciting I know. :o)

Summore lost!
I'm down 1.8 lbs more! Which is a good average per week (1-2 lbs a week). I'm still eating well. If I don't eat well then I get a belly ache and one time, I had other problems :/
So I'm just so happy to say that I'm still losing weight!! HOORAY It's Wednesday and I worked out everyday (aside from Sunday) and I plan to work out everyday this week. It feels great, it really does! Total weight loss this far is: 7.4 pounds
I feel that my tummy is flatter but I feel like my face might still be a little rolly. But I admit, I look much better than I did 7.4 pounds ago! I'm so pleased. I hope hope hope I keep losing more weight! I will keep up what I am doing- cause it's working!

No headache today
Alright, I ate something other than fish for dinner tonight. And no headache! It's a relief, they really make things miserable. I'm scared to have fish again in case it gives me a migraine.
Something's fishy!
I eat my fish for dinner when Blake is home cause he really likes the fish part. Well, I didn't have a headache all day but as soon as I ate that last bite of fish BAM I got a headache. It was instantly. So odd... does anyone know why that would happen? And I wonder if that is what happens everyday and I just never noticed.

I got issues man!
So, I've been doing this strict diet for 3 full days (this is day 4) and man, I've been getting bad head aches. I think it's either:
A- I'm having sugar and carb. withdrawals
B- My system is totally detoxifying (is that a word) which tends to give headaches
C- My body isn't used to so little calories or
D- All of the above :o)
Crud. I do need to post pictures. I wish I had something that could help me get pics onto my computer. See, that is why I rarely post pics- no way of getting them on here.
I like this diet because it makes me make dinner every night AND I get creative with cooking. It's fun! (oh and not to mention the health benefits) Blake is liking all the fish and home cooked meals too ;)
I worked out today. Not very well though :/ I did my stationary bike, about 7 minutes of Slim in 6, the resistance bands, crunches on my exercise ball and then the stationary bike again for like 1 min. HA! I have so much cleaning to do today that I have a hard time working out. I figure cleaning will have to count as part of my work out today.

Forgot to Mention
My cute husband Blake said he'd do the diet with me :o) so that really helps a ton!! Thanks lover!!! And he and I decided to do a free day... so like Fridays or Satrudays. Anywhoo. If anyone would like to join in please do! It's really great-- if you like fish that is.
Week 1!!!

Yay! I've been doing my healthy good stuff for a week now and I've lost 5.6 LBS!!!!! I now weigh 159.2. I'm so happy!! My mother-in-law gave me her diet to a healthier body and I started it yesterday. It was hard yesterday but I know it will get easier. I'm not giving up on it. Thanks Mama C!! :o)
no sugars/sweeteners of any kind, dairy, meat, prepared foods, canned foods. the best way to look at it is focus on what you can eat!
eat lots of fresh veggies/salads, samples of fruits, I just eat fruit for breakfast and that's it for the most part.
lots of fish. wild salmon is best. watch labels...no added coloring etc.
get a really good protein drink with lots of fiber, grains, veggies. I can get you one but its expensive.
you can have juice that is 100% natural juice.
lemons and herbs on your salads.
sea salt
allowed dairy:
real unsalted butter
sour cream
cream cheese
cottage cheese
2 eggs a week (omlets are great! you get creative with diff. veggies/mushrooms)
2 tats a week
raw nuts
& seeds (unsalted)
that’s about it.
as you get healthy you can add tyson chicken/natural
and whole grains
the rule that works best for all your meals is to eat 80-20
80% liquid 20% meat/grains
so a big salad with a small piece of fish
then a big salad with a small serving of grain or tate

I actually didn’t work out all that much. I walked every day up and down hills and got a ball to sit on while I watch tv to work my abs. I did a simple routine 3-4x a week.
Well that's her healthy diet from a specialist. I plan to work out often. I will keep all this up and I'll continue to see progress!!!
